By purchasing or accessing any of our courses, you (hereinafter referred to as “you,” “the purchaser,” or “the user”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”). These Terms govern your use of our services, including all course content, materials, and the platform itself. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your purchase. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not purchase or access our services.

1. Purchase and Use of the Courses

1.1. Nature of Purchase: When you purchase our cybersecurity courses, you are making a one-time payment that grants you lifetime access to the purchased educational content, including videos, written materials, quizzes, and any additional resources included in the course package at the time of purchase. This access is personal to you and intended solely for your individual education and professional development in the field of cybersecurity.

1.2. Restrictions on Use: The course content is provided exclusively for your personal, non-commercial use. You are strictly prohibited from sharing, reselling, reproducing, distributing, or otherwise making the materials available to third parties without our prior written consent. For example, you may not upload course videos to public platforms, share login credentials with others, or create derivative works based on our content for sale or distribution.

1.3. Non-Transferability: Your purchase is tied to your individual account and cannot be transferred, assigned, or sold to another person or entity. Any attempt to transfer access will result in immediate termination of your access without refund.

1.4. Access Duration: Upon successful payment, you will receive lifetime access to the purchased course materials, meaning access will continue for as long as the platform remains operational, subject to Section 5.3 (Discontinuation). Access is contingent upon compliance with these Terms.

1.5. Acceptable Use: You agree to use the course materials in a manner consistent with applicable laws and regulations. This includes refraining from using the content to engage in illegal activities, such as hacking or distributing malware, unless such activities are part of a controlled, ethical learning exercise explicitly outlined in the course.

2. Payment

2.1. One-Time Fee: The course fee is a one-time charge, payable in full at the time of purchase. The exact price will be clearly indicated during the checkout process.

2.2. Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit cards, electronic bank transfers, or other methods as specified on our website. Payment must be completed successfully to grant access to the course.

2.3. Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust course prices at any time. However, once you have completed your purchase, the price you paid will not be affected by future changes.

2.4. Payment Failures: If a payment attempt fails (e.g., due to insufficient funds, an expired card, or a declined transaction), you will be notified and given 48 hours to resolve the issue. If payment remains unresolved, your purchase will be canceled, and access will not be granted.

2.5. Taxes: All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, such as sales tax, VAT, or GST, which may be added to your invoice depending on your location. You are responsible for any such taxes as required by law.

3. Purchase Term and Termination

3.1. Purchase Start: Your access to the course begins upon successful payment and continues indefinitely, subject to these Terms.

3.2. Our Termination Rights: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to violation of these Terms (e.g., sharing course materials) or suspected fraudulent activity. Upon termination, your access will cease immediately, and no refunds will be issued.

3.3. Effect of Termination: Upon termination, you will no longer have access to the course content, and any licenses granted to you for use of the materials will expire. You are not entitled to retain copies of the content unless explicitly permitted in writing.

4. Refund Policy

4.1. Our Commitment: We strive to ensure your satisfaction with our courses. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase, we offer a refund policy under the following conditions.

4.2. Eligibility: You may request a refund within 30 days of your purchase date. To qualify, you must have accessed less than 20% of the course content, as determined by our tracking systems (e.g., video watch time, quiz completions).

4.3. Request Process: To initiate a refund, you must contact our support team at support@fusion-security.com with your full name, purchase details (e.g., order number), and a brief explanation of your request. We may ask for additional information to verify eligibility.

4.4. Exclusions: Refunds do not apply to promotional offers, discounted purchases, or bundled packages unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase. We also reserve the right to deny refunds if we detect a pattern of repeated or abusive refund requests.

4.5. Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days and credited to the original payment method used for the purchase. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. You will receive confirmation once the refund is issued.

5. Course Availability

5.1. Lifetime Access: Your purchase grants you lifetime access to the course content, meaning you may access it indefinitely as long as the platform remains operational.

5.2. Content Modifications: We reserve the right to update, revise, or enhance course content at any time to reflect new cybersecurity trends, technologies, or teaching methods. Such changes may include adding new modules, removing outdated sections, or altering the format of delivery. Updates are provided at no additional cost, but access to new content beyond your original purchase may require a separate purchase.

5.3. Discontinuation: We may discontinue specific courses or the entire platform at our discretion. In such cases, we will endeavor to provide you with at least 30 days’ notice via email or platform announcement, though this is not guaranteed. Upon discontinuation, your access will end, and no refunds will be issued for prior purchases.

5.4. Technical Availability: While we aim to maintain uninterrupted access, temporary outages may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen technical issues. We are not obligated to provide compensation for such interruptions.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1. Scope: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we (including our affiliates, employees, and contractors) are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the course materials or platform. This includes, but is not limited to, losses due to technical failures, course discontinuation, or misapplication of learned concepts.

6.2. Examples: For instance, if you rely on our course content for professional purposes and incur financial losses, or if a temporary outage prevents you from accessing a lesson, we will not be held responsible.

6.3. Maximum Liability: In any event, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for your course purchase.

7. Modifications to Terms

7.1. Right to Update: We may revise these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our business practices, legal requirements, or platform functionality.

7.2. Notification: For significant changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our platform at least 30 days in advance. Minor updates (e.g., typo corrections) may take effect immediately without notice.

7.3. Acceptance: Your continued use of the platform or course content after changes are implemented constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with the updates, your sole remedy is to cease using the course materials.
